AIM OF ACCREDITATION TEST

Echo (Cardiac Ultrasound) can be very helpful to:

To uniformly accredit the standard of performing echoes at level I in India.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

FOR M.D: Life Membership of IAE

FOR SONOGRAPHER: Associate Life Membership of IAE

VENUE OF TEST

The test is conducted once a year during the Annual Conference of IAE. The date, time and venue of the test is communicated to the candidates well in advance. The duration of the test is 2 hours .

CONTENT OF ACCREDITATION TEST

Type of Question:

• 50 multiple choice questions of 4 marks each = 200
• 25 AV clips of 4 marks each = 100

QUALIFICATION CRITERIA

Total no. of marks : 300

Pass percentage 60% i.e. ≥ 180 marks out of 300

Announcement of result on website on 1 st June of same year.

Certificate award ceremony in next annual conference of IAE.

Apply to Chairman Accreditation Test / Fellowship Committee with D.D of INR 2500/- only in the name of “ Indian Academy of Echocardiography” payable at Delhi at the following address along with application.
